Carmine’s Gourmet Market is looking for a full-time/part-time Bakery Service Specialist for their well-established Gourmet Market located in Palm Beach Gardens, FL. Responsibilities include ensuring that our delicious baked goods are beautifully presented and readily available for our customers.

DUTIES

  • Assist in the preparation and baking of a variety of pastries, cookies, and breads
  • Engage with customers by providing exceptional service, answering questions about products, and making recommendations based on their preferences.
  • Help maintain the cleanliness and organization of the bakery area, adhering to food safety standards and proper food handling practices.
  • Package baked goods efficiently while ensuring freshness and presentation for display.
  • Participate in inventory management by assisting with stock rotation, monitoring supplies, and reporting any shortages or issues.
  • Stay updated on food safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment for everyone.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience in a bakery or food production environment is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Familiarity with cake decorating techniques and pastry preparation is a plus.

Catering Specialist
Pay: Up to $25.00 per hour

Role Description

The Catering Specialist will be responsible for booking catering orders, ensuring timely and accurate food preparation and delivery, and providing excellent customer service. They will work closely with the kitchen staff to coordinate catering events, manage client communications, and uphold the high standards of quality and service that Carmine’s is known for.

DUTIES

  • Curate fresh floral arrangements, bouquets, and centerpieces tailored to specific customer preferences and seasonal themes.
  • Provide expert guidance on floral selection, design aesthetics, and specialized care to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the floral display area, ensuring all products are well-stocked and visually appealing.
  • Oversee the procurement and tracking of floral and gift basket supplies; proactively coordinate with leadership regarding inventory needs.
  • Execute seasonal merchandising strategies to highlight promotional offerings and maintain department standards.
  • Other duties as assigned by leadership.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Excellent Customer Service and Catering Sales skills
  • Strong Communication skills, effectively interact with guests and staff
  • Computer experience, ability to input orders into Catering Software
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
